Lean Project Implementation

Lean Project Implementation is a workshop, based on your Value Stream Map, that has you identify specific projects by Value Stream Loop. Then, prioritizing these projects into 90-day action plans, assigning responsibility for the completion of each one, and setting up management reviews on a regular basis to insure these projects are completed and the appropriate results achieved.

 

 

Learning Objectives:

  1. Identify Business Objectives and Measurable Goals for the Value Stream
  2. Create Baseline VS Metrics
  3. Break the Value Stream into VS Loops
  4. Specify the appropriate Lean Tool to be implemented within each VS Loop
  5. List the Lean Projects to be completed within each VS Loop
  6. Clarify which Lean Projects can be completed within the next 90 days
  7. Using a Work Breakdown Structure (Project Management), for each Lean Project list the specific Tasks and Activities, Required Resources, and Timeline.
  8. Assign Project Responsibility for each Lean Project
  9. Establish Management (GEMBA) Reviews between the Site Manager, Value Stream Leader, and Lean Project Leaders.
